Dying of the light

£750

“Do not go gentle into that good night... Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” There is something exquisite about the life cycle of a butterfly. The humble change from bland caterpillar to luminescent flickering light. The sacrifice in rebirth, the beauty in life — I wanted to capture the still life between the cycles, contrasting the abstract colour with a toned down palette.
